Several years ago, Aaron Gottlieb needed 18 hours of sleep a day. A visit to his doctor pinpointed the cause of the chronic fatigue: the Epstein-Barr virus. Following the diagnosis, friends introduced Aaron to organic foods and a vegetarian diet. One year later, he was 80 pounds thinner and feeling incredibly well.

The experience led him to dedicate his life to helping others eat right too and in 1997, Aaron and his wife Erica opened Native Sun Natural Foods Market on San Jose Boulevard.
