Our mission is to
develop programs that will allow our employees and customers
to work together toward building a more sustainable
environment for our local community. Our first initiative is called Treecycle!
Here's how it works . . . .
1. Every time you purchase a Native Sun Treecycle reusable
grocery bag, we will donate 5¢ to Greenscape
of Jacksonville, a local nonprofit organization
planting trees in our community.
2. Every time you use your Treecycle bag
or ANY reusable grocery bag in-store, you will earn
5¢ per bag off your total purchase OR the chance
to donate your 5¢ per bag to Greenscape
of Jacksonville. It’s your choice! How would you like to use your refund?
3. Every two weeks, we will distribute
a one-of-a-kind button that represents a green effort
in one of our departments. The buttons are designed
to sit atop the swirls on your Treecycle bag. Collect
all 12 and watch your tree grow!

Native Sun is always looking for ways to make your shopping experience “greener,” whether it’s switching to juice cups made from biodegradable non-GMO corn or stocking only biodegradable produce bags in our certified organic produce department.
Look for our “Greener Grocery” posters and tags around the store to learn about all the green efforts we already have in place and what you can do to be a green shopper.
