Meat & Seafood Supervisor
LOCATION: Jax Beach (Full-Time)
DEPARTMENT: Native Sun Meat and Seafood
COMPENSATION: TBD based on experience
The Meat & Seafood Supervisor performs all functions necessary to support the daily operations of the Meat & Seafood Department. Responsibilities include: inventory control, merchandising, training and supporting department team members, and coordinating with the Store Manager to meet or exceed financial performance benchmarks. The Meat & Seafood Supervisor must consistently communicate and model Native Sun Natural Foods Market’s vision and goals. In addition, this associate must exhibit a desire and potential to move into a Department Manager Position. The position helps customers select beef, pork, chicken, and fresh seafood while providing excellent customer service.
Professional experience processing fresh meat and seafood required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Must have excellent organizational and sanitation skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must have the ability to learn, understand, and advocate for all relevant Native Sun Natural Foods Market policies, procedures, core values, business philosophy, and quality goals.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency, and meet timelines.
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to merchandise product.
Must be comfortable using equipment designed for cutting.
Strong work ethic and personal integrity a must, as well as effective time management skills.
- Able to work mornings, nights, weekends, holidays and long/unusual hours as needed.
