NATIVE SUN MANDARIN RUN RAISES
OVER $570 FOR CHARITY
(Jacksonville, FL 11/15/06) Over 570 runners gathered
in Mandarin Park Saturday, November 4 to participate in the 27th Annual
Native Sun Mandarin Run 10K. This marked a record for attendance,
increasing nearly 30% from last year. This was Native
Sun Natural Food Market's fourth year as presenting
sponsor. A donation of $1 per race entry was donated
to The Seaside Playgarden, a Waldorf-inspired school
in Jacksonville Beach.
Listed first to third, top finishers in the open categories
were Aaron Lanzel of Jacksonville, Ryan Woods of Daytona Beach
and Paul McRae of Jacksonville for the men and Tatiana
Titova of Gainesville, Kim Pawelek of Jacksonville,
and Lisa Vaill of Gainesville for the women. Master
category winners were Orange Park residents John Metzger
and Patti Stewart-Garbrecht.
