Recipes - Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 C milk*
2 frozen bananas
1/2 C vanilla or regular yogurt
2 tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp Spectrum Naturals Flax Oil
2 pitted dates
3-4 ice cubes
*note that all dairy and animal products may be substituted with soy products.

 

Blend together the milk, bananas, yogurt, lemon juice, vanilla, flax oil, and dates until smooth. Add the ice cubes and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or pour into Popsicle molds and freeze.

Yields: 2 cups
