Recipes -Vegetable Pasta with Nutritionalyeast

Ingredients:

Olive Oil
1 8oz box of your favorite pasta                                                 
2 cloves chopped garlic
1\2 small onion (Sliced Thin)
1\3 cup Frozen Peas
1 medium carrot diced
1 stalk of broccoli crowns optional*
1\4 cup chopped parsley or Basil
1\4 cup Nutritional Yeast                                                                1 tsp Sea Salt                                   

 

 

:1. Pour water into a stock pot and set to high heat. Once water is boiling add broccoli florets and cook for 2 minutes.  Take broccoli florets out with a slotted spoon and set aside.  Add pasta and cook as per boxes instructions.

2.. Drain pasta when done and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Drizzle with olive oil.

3.Heat up a large saute pan to medium\high heat. Place 1 Tbs olive oil in pan. Add garlic and onions. Saute for 2 minutes.  Add carrots, saute 3-4 minutes more.  Add frozen peas and cook for another 2 minutes. Lower heat.

4.Season with Sea salt and then add broccoli, pasta, parsley or basil and nutritional yeast.  Toss in the saute pan. Add a touch more Olive Oil if needed.  Serve with Garlic Bread and Side Salad..
