Codex Alimentarius is an international
code of food standards developed by a commission under
the United Nations through the Food and Agriculture
Organization (FAO) and the World Health Organization
(WHO). If the US adopts Codex Alimentarius, it could
impose international standards on the sale of dietary
supplements restricting our access to information on
health choices and our right to obtain high-potency
vitamins without a prescription.
Although CODEX has not been accepted by
the US, some lawmakers are attempting to pass legislation
that will create roadblocks in our ability to purchase
supplements. We are committed to helping our customers
stay informed about this important issue and will continue
to provide up-to-date information on any legislation
that could negatively impact you as consumers of these
products.
