Botanical Cocktail Workshop

This August, thanks to the team at Curate and Co. we were able to collaborate with Slow Food First Coast, Manifest Distilling and Edible Northeast Florida for an evening of foraged foods, local spirits and botanical cocktails!
We learned about local wild edibles from Mariah of Southern Roots Filling Station and Cultivate Jax, cocktail modifiers (like bitters!) with John from the US Bartenders Guild in Jax, tasted macerated strawberries courtesy of David, Head Distiller at Manifest Distilling, and made a green garden cocktail with Sarah from Taverna San Marco.
We pitched in with some organic veggies and light refreshments to complement 1748 Bakehouse's small bites. Natalie's Juice Company and Manifest Distillery donated cocktail ingredients. It was great to be in such good (and delicious) company and we'd like to thank Slow Food First Coast and Edible Northeast Florida for such a beautiful botanical cocktail workshop!
