2018 Holiday Gift Guide
This year, we adventured through our aisles to find the perfect gifts for everyone under the (Native) sun. Read the list by recipient, or scroll through the entire thing to get inspiration for your own wish list!
For her, we’re focused on relaxation and self-care, starting with this soothing face mask. (Or any face mask, really!) We also really love Cocokind’s face and lip treatment sticks. Each stick aids a different ailment, like dry spots and breakouts, so they’re perfect stocking stuffers for natural-beauty lovers! You can grab just one (our favorite is mymatcha) or all three organic coconut and sunflower oil based beauty sticks in a pack from our Health + Beauty Department!
Holidays are stressful, so we like the idea of giving gifts that support relaxation like organic Christmas Tea, local honey and a mug for a simple night in. CBD Gummies would make a great gift, too, for added balance and relaxation after the Christmas craziness.
Other gift ideas we’re big on include Andalou’s skin care kits, Bass’ facial cleansing brush and sleeping mask, and anything from Auric Blends LOVE fragrance collection. (Just trust us, it smells AMAZING!)
For the Little Ones
For little ones, Green Sprouts organic cotton or infinity rattles are perfect to keep them busy and happy! Similarly, these amber necklaces have all sorts of health benefits for teething tots, so we’re also considering them a gift for parents who are dealing with the terrors of teething.
Need ideas for bigger little ones? We love this kids version of National Geographic. Turn the pages of the magazine with your little explorer so they can show off their reading skills!
You could also make it an educational holiday and teach the kids the importance of recycling and reducing single use plastic. An easy way to that? A reusable water bottle like Kid Kanteen. The stainless steel kids water bottles and baby bottles are made with safe, BPA-free materials. Similarly, all of Green Toy’s products are made of recycled milk jugs and their packaging is 100% recyclable, so your kids can unwrap a present with less of an impact on the planet.
He might not ever buy himself a bio-plastic tooth brush infused with activated charcoal or dry brush by Bass, which makes both items great gift ideas.
For the Foodie
Specialty jam can be served on a cheese board or spread on a biscuit. It’s deliciously versatile and a great gift for a foodie. We love Jammy Yummy because the ingredients are few, the flavor is crazy-good (Jalapeño Jam!) and the packaging is adorable.
Pantry staples like oil and salt may sound like odd gifts, but La Tourange’s Herbs de Provence Oil and Bulls Bay Saltworks Smoked Sea Salt are unique, gourmet flavor enhancers we think every home-cook deserves to have in their pantry.
Other foodie gift ideas we love include Organic Curry Cashews from our bulk bins (yum!), seasonal chocolate from our friends at Theo, and the latest issue of Edible NE Florida (which is FREE!).
For the Hostess
Going to someones house for the holidays? Don’t show up empty handed! Grab a bottle of something delicious, like Miami Cocktail co.’s Blood Orange Mimosa so you can keep the bar cart full! We also have a select number of jam and honey sets from Stubbee’s and Bonne Maman that make great gifts.
Other ideas for the holiday hostess are these kii naturals organic Cranberry Pumpkin Seed Crisps (that would go great with our Cranberry Pecan Cheese Rolls) and this Sage Spirit White Sage Native American Smudge Wand to reset the energy of a room before or after a party.
