‘Tis the season for spiced everything (we’re looking at you, mulled cider) so of course we’re rocking the fall flavors the best way we know how - in our organic, vegan smoothies and scratch-made gluten-free muffins!
Here are a few of the autumn ingredients you’ll find in our seasonal treats!
Cloves aren’t just a strong seasonal scent, they’re also used medicinally to decrease pain and fight infection, among many other things. Cloves also happen to be nutrient-dense, offering iron, zinc, vitamin E, A and K.
The zesty and spicy fall flavor ginger brings to our recipes is great, but the healthy benefits are even better! Ginger is anti-inflammatory, helps fight nausea (if you find that you’ve eaten too much at your holiday party) and stabilize blood sugar levels.
Our pumpkin spice treats are made with real organic pumpkin which means they also pack in a serious serving of fiber, Vitamin A and potassium.
Organic Pumpkin Seeds
A few of these little green seeds adds a whole lot of nutrients like magnesium, zinc, and iron to any recipe. They also add a nice textural element, so be sure to try them in our seasonal Pumpkin Spice muffins.
